Had a lovely dinner here on Saturday night. Place is very cute and cozy inside. Service from Erin was very good. We had the schnitzel and the seafood linguine and both were excellent. It was very busy and I would recommend reservations.

Update: thanks for an awesome birthday dinner...Marcus & Martines staff! The service was great, the food was amazing and we had an excellent time. ***** Amazing food and drinks, great service and the owner Marcus is so welcoming...an experience to remember!!

Lucky that we were able to get same day reservation! Their steam clams appetizer was mouthwatering! Almost ordered some more bread to finish up the delicious sauce! Our mains were ribs and salmon, both were awesome! We finished with a lemon meringue pie and creme brulee. Best dessert ever! Staff were friendly and attentive. We will definitely come again if we visit Comox in the future!

One of the absolute best seafood meals I've ever eaten. Came to the island on a trip to see family and asked my brother where the best spot for great seafood eould be and he suggested Martines. It was the best decision! We had the tiger prawns, and the calamari was recommend to us by the server as an appetizer. He was right, best I've had in town. My sister and I shared the Ahi Tuna and Red Snapper dishes and I couldn't have asked for a better meal. I will think about that tuna forever! Our server was fantastic, he gave great recommendations and was incredibly prompt and charming. The atmosphere was also incredible and just added to an overall top notch dining experience.

First time diner. From the time you walk in, the atmosphere hits you. Warm, dark, inviting. Very friendly staff who accommodated us without reservations. The Caesar salad was, I have to be honest, the best I have ever had! House made dressing, parmigiana, fried capers, fresh lemon. Beautiful tangy fresh. We took advantage for the Sunday special braised lamb on the bone with red beet cabbage and potatoes. As good as I had in Greece! The real star was a the daily special, cedar planked salmon with a subtle sauce to die for. Perfectly seasoned and served with the cedar plank over a bed of soft rice. Could not get enough! Our server Cara recommended a bold robust Seven Stones red wine, so complex with dark notes. Brilliant. Creme brulee was like nothing I have ever tasted, creamy, vanilla, with strawberries and homemade cream. This is truly the best dining experiences I have had in years!

Absolutely delicious food! Our group shared the fresh steamed clams (amazing white wine sauce) and bitter ballen (paired perfectly with the Dijon mustard). For our mains we had the baked pesto sockeye salmon and turkey schnitzel off the fresh sheet and stuffed chicken breast and the lamb chops off the menu, it was all very good and satisfying! As for the restaurant, could definitely use an update and AC in the building, it was boilinggggg!

A staple in the Comox Valley. Food is always good. Staff very respectful. Reservations definitely. A great place to share a table with friends and family for a special outing.

Some of the best tasting food I’ve had in a long time! Highly recommend their baked Brie! Steak was cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious! My husband really enjoyed the lamb dish. We shared the lemon meringue ‘pie’ which was more like a deconstructed pie but absolutely Devine!!! We will most definitely return next time we are visiting this area. Only downside was that it was a little dark in the restaurant and not enough meal options or colouring activities for kids. (However they did accommodate our son really well)
